Iced Coffee | Cold Coffee
Coffee- either cold or hot, makes most of us very refresh in the mornings. Some like hot coffee and some prefer cold. But during hot summer, a cup of iced or cold coffee will be very refreshing to beat the heat.
Coffee- 6 Tbsp.
You can use any coffee brand. I used the Folgers Classic Roast. Do not use instant coffee powder. There is a different way of preparing the cold coffee with instant coffee powder. I will show that in a different post.
Pour 4 cups of Luke warm water to the 6 tbsp of coffee. Mix it well, cover it and let it sit for 10 to 12 hours. Overnight is advisable.
Now we have to prepare the cream for the cold coffee.
Sweetened Condensed Milk- 1 can-14 oz
Evaporated Milk- 1 can-12 oz
This is optional. Instead you can use full fat milk. But the milk should be cold. So after heating the milk, once it cooled down, put it in the fridge and use it for the coffee.
After 10 to 12 hours, you have to filter the coffee. For this, you can use cheese cloths (you have to layer several cheese cloths) or you can use coffee filters, or a fine nylon strainer as shown in the picture above to filter the coffee. Filter and store it in a glass jar and keep it in the refrigerator. This will stay good for at least 2 to 3 weeks.

Pour the coffee
Now add the cream you prepared or cold full fat milk
Mix it well
