Beans Poriyal | Green Beans Poriyal | Vegetarian Curry Recipe Green Beans is a very nutritional vegetable. This vegetable is a very good source for fiber intake and easily digestible too. Beans poriyal is a very quick recipe which can be prepared under 15 minutes. This goes well with sambar, rasam or curd rice.
|Green Beans||1/2 Kg|
|Grated Coconut||1/2 Cup|
|Pepper Powder||1 Tsp|
|Curry Leaves||4 or 5 Nos|
|Mustard Seeds||1 tsp|
|Dry red Chilies||2 or 3|
|Split Urad Dal||1/2 Tsp|
Add 1 tbsp oil in a kadai. Once heated up, add the mustard seeds. After the mustard seeds popped, add the curry leaves, split urad dal and dry red chilies
Add the beans and start sauteing
After 5 minutes, add required amount of salt
Cover and cook the beans
Once the beans are cooked, should not be very soft, but should be little crisper, add the grated coconut
Now add the pepper powder
Mix until everything combined well. Beans poriyal is ready Enjoy!
